Here’s what I’m working on today with a group of doctors that decided to ‘NOT DO NOTHING’.
I’ve been asked to present to a group of Residents and Fellows that will soon be graduating.
I shared an overview of five workshops that I have developed that will help them to get started in their practice.
They decided to start with the “Finding the Right Person for the Right Position” workshop.
Workshops are always better done in person, but in this case, with new physicians spread across a large geography, it will be virtual.
I start by presenting a concept that will weave throughout the entire workshop by a pre-read video that is emailed to the group, the week before the meeting.
On the day of the workshop, we do a fun activity that reviews the concept from the video to ensure that everyone is on the same page with the concept.
Then we start digging into scenarios.
This is a key point that cannot be lost. The entire workshop is interactive physicians learning from one another with one another. This is where I am simply the guide working through relevant scenarios that are designed specifically for them at the point of their development.
At the end of this workshop physicians will have practical strategies that will help them to hire and connect with staff to deliver the best value to their patients.
This is an example of what Human Scaffold does… making human connections for exceptional results.
