3 Ways to Support Someone Who Hates Confrontation

It’s certainly a pleasure to work with a variety of different types of personalities who exhibit different behaviours.  Some people are described as a ‘pleasure to work’ with because they are so agreeable and don’t like to cause tension.  In some cases, they are able to help ease any tension through their approach and can even be described the “glue” of the team.  All of this could be driven by their motivation to avoid confrontation.

  1. Be Nice! If you need to confront Omar, it doesn’t need to be an unpleasant discussion, even though it may be an unpleasant topic! Lighten the mood with a laugh to deflate tension, if possible.
